Colleagues are key to the bank achieving its goal of being number one for customer service, trust and advocacy.
We are developing and nurturing a healthy and inclusive culture throughout the bank. We are determined to be a great place to work, to encourage colleagues to bring the best of themselves to the bank, and to help each other to realise our full potential.
Keeping our employees physically and mentally healthy is another big consideration. 2017 saw the bank launch a number of initiatives to support the physical and mental wellbeing of colleagues. The employee survey highlighted that our wellbeing scores remain strong and above the average for global financial services. We also stepped up our commitment to career development support.
A great source of pride is many colleagues’ commitment to helping their local communities. We encourage them to take part in giving and volunteering programmes wherever they can.
