A six-figure loan for the purchase of a new premise, and another six-figure loan to assist with the refurbishment.


Veterinarian Ian McConnell has opened a new state-of the-art surgery after purchasing the former Mossley Library on Wyre Street in Mossley.

The ex-library has undergone extensive refurbishment and it now includes four vet and nurse consultation rooms, a central surgical preparation suite, two sterile operating theatres, a radiography theatre and an isolation unit.

Other facilities on the site include separate kennel areas for dogs and cats, a large and welcoming reception,retail area and separate seating areas for dogs and cats.

North Hill Hotel

A six-figure investment



North Hill Hotel has completed a pivotal extension project thanks to the help of NatWest.

Established six years ago by owner Rob Brown, the boutique-style hotel features 24 rooms and a 100-cover restaurant named The Greenroom. Catering to business guests and the tourist market, North Hill Hotel employs 50 members of staff from the local area.

As part of its growth strategy, the business has purchased and revamped an adjacent building – creating a further seven en-suite bedrooms in the process.
