Dental centre expands with NatWest support

A dental practice aims to expand its services with support from NatWest.

Hunts Cross Dental Centre in Liverpool provides a range of services from NHS dental examinations to bespoke cosmetic treatments. The practice also has family dentistry facilities including a dental plan so families can get the best value for their care.

But Ben Harvey, who recently became a clinical director at the practice after working at the practice for five years, wants to extend the services on offer with new cosmetic options.

Hunts Cross Dental Centre currently employs 10 people including dentists, hygienists and receptionists.

Harvey said: “It’s a great place to work. I am looking to grow the practice, and would like to consolidate our position as top cosmetic dentistry practice in South Liverpool.”

His co-director James Garside had been working with another clinical director Clive Harden for a number of years before Harvey took on the position.

As part of the move, Harvey worked with NatWest Healthcare Relationship Manager Michael Poole to secure a loan from the bank through the Government’s Funding For Lending Scheme.

Harvey said: “Michael has been great. He has great experience and was very supportive throughout the process. When we found ourselves facing set-backs he offered solutions that fit with this business.”
