The global economy continued to lose momentum in April - a trend that has been in evidence throughout the year so far.

Alongside our usual round-up of the global economy, this month we take a closer look to find evidence of a renaissance in US manufacturing. Some manufacturing activities may be returning to the US, but it’s not creating much by way of jobs.
