Helping social enterprise
The RBS Social Enterprise (SE) 100 Index is the UK's only index tracking the growth and impact of social businesses. Now in its third year, the index was created by RBS in partnership with Matter&Co.
Take part in year 3 of the Index
To take part, and for your organisation to be in with a chance of sharing a £25,000 prize fund, submit your information before 30 September 2012.
RBS SE100 is open to all UK social enterprises, enterprising charities, co-operatives, or any organisation that delivers positive social change. Inclusion in RBS SE100 raises awareness of an organisation's strength and growth within the sector, and informs potential investors and market commentators.
The prize fund is shared between the RBS SE100 growth champion, social impact champion and trailblazing newcomer.
What is a social enterprise?
A social enterprise is a business that exists to address a social or environmental need. Rather than maximising profit for shareholders or owners, profits are reinvested into the community or back into the business. Well known examples include The Eden Project, Divine Chocolate, Cafédirect and HCT Group.
