1 Click Solutions expand to open Basildon shop

Two young entrepreneurs who have built a successful IT business from their bedrooms are now expanding by opening their first retail unit in Basildon.

Funding for the move to the new shop in Southernhay, has been provided by their banking partners NatWest.

1 Click Solutions was formed in 2010 by friends Daniel Rostami and Matthew Canning. The business serves both business and domestic markets. For businesses they provide services for the corporate and SME market on a pay as you go basis providing a full proactive service, network security consultancy & implementation, off site hosting of servers, desktops and back-ups. This includes offering helpdesk style support solutions and packages for company's seeking to outsource their IT needs. For the domestic market they offer laptop repairs, virus removal, pc repairs, data recovery and other services such as website design and IT networking. They also operate an online e-shop for parts through their website.

The new shop will focus on providing IT support and repairs to laptops, pc's, games consoles and other electric equipment that is out of manufacturers warranty. They will also be selling laptops, pc's, hardware and software.

Talking about the expansion of the business, Daniel Rostami said: "We are living through a rapidly expanding technological age. More and more domestic revenue is being invested in technology, be it on mobile phones, laptops or tablet computers. Technology does need robust support, things do falter and break. Our business has grown because we provide a quality support backup service. This has expanded to the business market with a particular emphasis on the SME marketplace where technology is vital but in a lot of cases business owners do not have the IT infrastructure of larger corporate operations. The shop will increase our accessibility but also provides us with much needed additional space so that we can take on larger jobs."

Amanda Warner, relationship manager, business banking at NatWest adds: "In just under a year Daniel and Matthew have established a solid business. The new retail until provides them with the space and capacity to grow their business model over the next few years."
