Christmas Entrepreneurs

To celebrate the festive season, we look at some of the entrepreneurs who joined the Entrepreneurial Spark Powered by NatWest accelerator hubs, and whose businesses are particularly busy at this time of the year.

21 December 2016

Throughout 2016, NatWest and Entrepreneurial Spark have been supporting hundreds of new and young businesses in their development. Here is round up of our ‘Christmas entrepreneurs’:

  • Stand4 Socks is a Manchester-based social enterprise which this year launched the ‘buy one, give one’ campaign. This initiative will see the company give a pair of thick, antibacterial socks directly to homeless people in the North West, with each pair of socks sold, and will support the UN’s Global Goals.
  • Foodinate is a business designed to create a sustainable impact on food poverty in the UK. By booking a table at a participating restaurant and ordering a meal, a meal will also be provided for a local homeless shelter.
  • Not Before Tea is a British children’s lifestyle brand. Their products include the Adventures of Sherb and Pip, a children’s story written by young author,  Henry Patterson, when he was 10 years old.
  • Envytations is a website for designing the perfect invitations for every occasion, and organising guest lists.

Entrepreneurial Spark Powered by NatWest Spark is the world’s largest free business accelerator for start-up and scale up businesses and has provided free support, mentoring, networking and office accommodation for over 650 businesses in hubs or Hatcheries across the UK.
