RBS Transport & Local Authorities
Powering the first live transport and ticketing ITSO Scheme
Introduction
RBS transport solutions provide back office services for interoperable transport & ticketing systems. Fully accredited by ITSO, the RBS HOPS product is already being used to provide back-office services by ITSO-accredited schemes in the UK.
The RBS flexible managed service allows local and national control of many aspects of these schemes and using the ITSO standards will support schemes that involve all forms of transport including buses, trains, ferries and trams. Scheme operators and manager take all decisions on product acceptance and while RBS look after all of the day to day business of message transfer and system operations.
The RBS HOPS service already supports UK-based schemes and is also able to support schemes outside the UK, since the communications employed are secure-internet messaging.
