25th June
We’re making progress in putting things right and will keep 1,200 branches open until 7pm 25th June and from 8am-6pm for the rest of the week.

Why has this page not been update by RBS since Monday? We are all still waiting on our wages - updating this page would save hundreds of extra people from calling/visiting branches... hence freeing up staff for the people who aren't on line.
We have now fixed the initial technical problem and our priority is to work through the backlog. We recognise that customers are still impacted and we apologise for this continued inconvenience.
What happens if this situation stretches beyond this week?
If a customer goes over drawn in their account RBS are not slow in charging you 6 a day for your over draft.
All of my family are with RBS, and i have been a customer 13 years with this bank and i just set up a trust-fund for my daughter, as soon as i receive my money I will leave this bank without any hesitation and are so my family.
It is a joke in this day and age something this destructive has happened and is taking so long to be put right!
Also what is going to happen with the huge amounts of interest that will be accumulating in cyber space or wherever the "lost money" is?
How are you going to compensate customers who dont have an overdraft or credit cards?
WHY NO APOLOGY? Get a grip or I am moving banks this weekend.
My payments by standing order seem to be going out in the usual way but I don't know about direct debits.
i understand there was a fault, and plenty of people are without funds but the extra opening hours to resolve the problem are to no avail,i still dont feel reassured that the issues are being resolved and am down to my last 5,dont know what i'm going to do if the money isnt in tomorrow, which i am starting to doubt as i've been told for the last 3 days to check in the morning and it still isnt resolved,
not happy at all
Folk getting paid, money in account, then disappearing, come on!!! Stop treating us like idiots and stop STEALING our money.
the Time !
Checked my bank on Saturday there was
money in the account , 2 hours later I'm
overdrawn , have been told by staff the Bank
has taken the money ? What is going on ?
Will I stay with RBS ???
My weekend off , thanks to RBS it's been
no fun
Thankyou
i am very sad if i lived on the money paid in i would have nothing
u think this is an appalling situation and believe me when my money is availible to me im getting as far away from your group and any businesses that its involved with
5 days now with no money and only possibility of money in the future
disgusting
I had a 300 job booked in for today and have had to give it up due to lack / no funds to purchase materials and buy fuel?
Also i had to miss Royal Ascot on saturday due to no funds, will my ticket be refunded?
I was told everything would be working today now they say Wed morning. I wish I could treat my customers this way. And have a business left.
