Sponsorship
We are, of course, reviewing all our sponsorship activity as we look to cut costs across our businesses. We are doing our best to strike the right balance between maintaining the benefits sponsorships bring to our businesses and the communities they operate in while managing costs down within contractual constraints.
RBS and Sponsorship
Our involvement in sponsorship has previously helped us build our brand and deliver specific business objectives across the globe.
Our properties range from major sports events such as the RBS 6 Nations to sports personalities of present and past such as Andy Murray, Jack Nicklaus and Sir Jackie Stewart.
However, we're just as committed to sponsoring the champions of tomorrow, and local communities and sports around the world count on us to help them achieve their goals:
- RBS First Tee Mentoring Program is providing young people in America with learning opportunities and life skills through golf
- NatWest CricketForce has become England's biggest volunteer initiative
- RBS RugbyForce, working with UK rugby clubs for a better place to play.
Local and national sponsorship
Although we are committed to many local and national initiatives, we are unable to support every sponsorship opportunity. As a general rule, we're unlikely to be able to sponsor clubs or societies, teams, venues, fundraising events, publications, videos, films, recordings or website development.
If you have a sponsorship proposal you would like us to consider, please contact your local branch.
