Community programmes

We aim to make a positive social impact on the communities we operate in, through partnerships, local initiatives and supporting the charitable efforts of our employees. Our Group sponsorship approach also focuses on benefitting the local community.

As well as our Group-wide community programmes, there is also a range of activity that is led from within our separate business divisions around the world. These initiatives respond to the needs of both local communities and employees.

The RBS group is committed to supporting the charitable endeavours of its employees including financial, time and in kind contributions.

Divisional community initiatives

As well as our Group community programmes, there are also a range of community initiatives that are led from within the different divisions across the organisation.

MacMillan Partnership

Since our partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support began, RBS employees have given up their time to fundraise and volunteer and have raised more than £1,775,000 for people affected by cancer.

MoneySense

We have a long-standing commitment to financial education. MoneySense works with young people in schools to educate them about money management.

Sports sponsorship

In 2012 we have made a significant effort to ensure that our sponsorships provide greater value to communities and society as a whole.
