We have the skills and experience to provide services, support and advice across our customer-facing divisions and a number of group functions.
We support everything from monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting to new product launches, investment decisions, performance analysis and acquisitions.
Our specialist teams are described below:
Group Chief Accountant's (GCA)
GCA is responsible for meeting the RBS group's (including RBS and NatWest) external financial, regulatory and statistical reporting obligations.
Group Corporate Finance
The primary role of Group Corporate Finance is to support the Group Executive Committee (ExCo) on the financial aspects of strategic transactions.
Group Finance Business & Executive Support
Group Finance Business & Executive Support, supports the Group Finance Director and the wider RBS Finance community by delivering a range of project and business as usual activities.
Group Financial Planning and Analysis (GFP&A)
GFP&A provides a number of decision support functions to the Group to provide an independent, high quality and effective assessment of the financial performance and outlook of the RBS group.
Group Internal Audit
Group Internal Audit operate as internal consultants, working as partners with the business reporting regularly to the Group Executive and the Group Audit Committee and providing a vital link between RBS group and our regulators.
Group Strategy
Group Strategy ensure that the Group has the right portfolio of businesses, active in the right markets, supported by the appropriate allocation of capital and other resources.
Group Tax
Group Tax is responsible for the overall corporate tax affairs of the Group, ensuring compliance with the laws and regulations of the UK and any foreign countries in which business is conducted.
Group Treasury
Group Treasury supports business growth through proactive and efficient management of balance sheet resources.
Investor Relations
Investor Relations ensure that current and potential investors have sufficient information and assistance to enable them to properly value the Company's capital, and thereby to encourage long term investment.
Shared Services Finance (SSF)
SSF ensures finance systems and processes are able to support the Finance function and deliver its reporting commitments.
